Research Group of Assoc. Prof. Dr.Yesim Serinagaoglu
I worked on a research project which aims to assess the quality of the ECG signals for the wearable devices. The developed algorithm is an energy efficient solution for the ultra-low power wearable devices. I won the people’s Choice Award and publication award at research program STAR conducted by METU EEE.

Research Intern

Helmholtz-Institut für Biomedizinische Technik an der RWTH Aachen
I developed a real-time peak detection algorithm for the capacitive ECG signals which highly contaminated with noise. At the end, a user-interface is developed for multi-purpose of ECG signal processing. You can find it in my GitHub.

Research Assistant at AICPS under the supervision of Prof. Al Faruque
I am currently pursuing my PhD in computer engineering degree at University of California Irvine. My research is focused on the Health IoT, Edge-AI and Embedded Systems.

Quality Assessment of
ECG Signals

I developed an algorithm to grade quality of ECG signals with an energy efficient method.Furthermore, I have won the People’s Choice Award in the presentation competition and publication award at undergraduate research program STAR conducted by the METU EEE department.
